CounterpartyLink have announced the release of the latest
version of their AML/KYC product, Version 1.3.1. This adds
additional data fields that have been requested by clients,
including:
- The native name of the entity in its original language
and character set.
- The Country of the HQ of Immediate and Ultimate Parent
- Regulated Indicator for Immediate and Ultimate Parent
- A new field to provide the IBEI (International
Business Entity Identifier), as it becomes available.
- Enhanced details of Corporate Actions that have either
been applied to, or are being monitored for, this entity.
A further release, Version 1.4 is a significant addition
to the product set and provides legal entity data to support
both the Third Money Laundering Directive and the next phase
of MiFID, both of which come into force in November.
Additional data includes the following:
- Beneficial Ownerships to a 25% level
- Directors and Officers details
- Selected financial information and enhanced entity
descriptions to support client classification under MiFID
CounterpartyLink have a detailed roadmap which shows the
developments that we plan to undertake in the future. Many
of these are in direct response to feedback from clients or
to anticipate additional requirements in the compliance
environment. In addition to developments that we are
undertaking ourselves, we are also working with partners to
help them specify and produce related data sets which will
complement the CounterpartyLink product.
