James Redfern
Head of Sales & Marketing
James Redfern is responsible for sales and marketing and developing and managing the network of distributors through which CounterpartyLink's products are sold.
He was previously with Cicada, where he managed strategic alliances and partnerships with a wide range of third parties, from consultancy firms to technology suppliers and resellers. James was also responsible for the sourcing, negotiating and contracting of business relationships with third-party data providers.
Prior to joining Cicada, James was employed by Reuters Group plc in London, where he had global responsibility for the management of third-party research, analysis and news suppliers to Reuters (known as "Specialist Data").
Prior to Reuters, James was the International Product Manager for ADP's front-office brokerage information service "FS Partner for Windows" and "Power Partner". He has also worked for stockbrokers in Vancouver, Canada and Sydney, Australia.

Carl Needham
Head of Operations
Carl Needham leads the company operations and product delivery teams at CounterpartyLink, where he ensures the company’s high standards in product quality and client service requirements are continually maintained.
Carl joined CounterpartyLink after an extensive and successful career at D&B (formerly Dun & Bradstreet). In his 19 years at D&B, Carl held senior management roles in Operations, Sales, Service and Marketing, spanning country markets across Europe and North America. Carl led several strategic initiatives for the company and created and launched information products in numerous countries across the world.
Most recently, Carl served as D&B’s UK Marketing Director and chaired the company’s strategic risk product group in Europe, launching compliance and reference solutions.

Geoff Stanley
Head of Programme & Platform Delivery Management
Geoff Stanley is responsible for CounterpartyLink’s programme management and the delivery of the platform on which CPL builds and distributes its products to clients.
Prior to joining CounterpartyLink Geoff worked for Cicada where his responsibilities included solution design and appraisal, implementation, operation and project/programme management, which delivered risk, market and reference data solutions to Cicada's customers.
Prior to Cicada Geoff worked for Tenfore where he was involved in numerous projects including building the UK market data collection infrastructure, the subscriber management system and running the support teams for the UK customer base.
Geoff holds a BEng (Hons) in Civil Engineering, is a member of the PMI, holds the PMP qualification and is currently studying for an MBA with the Edinburgh Business School.
